About Me
Hana Ibrahim, a storyteller, photojournalist, and humanitarian with a deep passion for amplifying underrepresented voices. With a background in photography, videography, and podcasting, I focus on sharing the stories of women, LGBTQ+ individuals, and marginalized communities, shining a light on their experiences to drive awareness and change. Half Kurdish, half Arab, my diverse cultural roots inspire my work and activism. As a freelancer, I collaborate with organizations to capture impactful narratives while also assisting journalists and contributing to projects that highlight sensitive and unusual stories. Beyond storytelling, I’m a dedicated activist and environmentalist, committed to rescuing animals and advocating for sustainability. I created a mini shelter for disabled birds and dream of building safe spaces for animals, LGBTQ+ individuals, and survivors of abuse and violence. I am also the founder of @Health_Sexual_Talk on Instagram, an educational platform that raises awareness about sexual health and well-being, focusing on inclusivity for LGBTQ+ individuals and diverse gender identities. Additionally, I’ve worked on podcasts that share the stories of women and LGBTQ+ individuals, tackling issues like abuse and harassment. My mission is to give a voice to those who cannot speak for themselves—whether humans, animals, or the environment—through powerful visuals, storytelling, and compassionate action.
